Here's a primer to the stoplight feature:
Green Light Green: Scans have happened in the last 24 hours, and most items already existed.
Yellow Light Yellow: A high number of item inspections are occurring, or it has been too long since the last update.
Red Light Red: The game has recently crashed, odd behaviours will occur.
Things to expect are missing items, weird item behaviors, and scanning in excess of two days to get through the shops. Please wait until the next full scan cycle to report issues with your shop.

For those interested in why: the game automatically regenerates the ID tags for items when this happen. To make sure that I get unique items, such as if you have 5 "a leather breastplate" for sale, each at different prices, I use that tag to validate ASSESS information, pricing, etc. When the game crashes, these IDs are rebuilt. I end up with duplicates, and have to remove the offending old item, and I end up having to re-assess every item, meaning it's 3-5 minutes to scan a shop instead of 30 seconds. I keep a tally on how many inspects are occuring during my scans, and this sets the status of the stoplight.
