I've gotten an amazing number of questions since I began this site. Hopefully, I can answer most of them here.

Question: How do I do an advanced search?
Answer: See the Search FAQ.

Question: Why do some items show stats (+20, etc.) and others don't?
Answer: This is actually a feature that the shop owner can enable by having a bard loresing their items before putting them on the shelves. If the shopkeep does that, you'll see it in their store as well as on my site. I won't assume that because one vultite sword is +20, one with the same description in another shop is as well, and neither should you.

Question: Where is room number ##?
Answer: Click on the shop and look at the bottom of the page. You should see a map with the shops and the room numbers.

Question: I change my shelving, are you not going to see it?
Answer: I custom built a front end to search through all the shops. I haven't gone and mapped out your specific shop... Don't worry, you can change the exterior of your shop, your shelves, etc. If I'm missing something, let me know! I may not have the full list of containers or shop exteriors yet!

Question: You're missing my items/shop. What do I do?
Answer: First of all, contact me. If I had to hazard a guess, you got an alter and it doesn't fit the normal naming for shops or containers. A good example of this is the "armory" in the landing. If you do contact me, please tell me the room your shop is in, the exterior, what container I'm missing, and any other details you can. All this will help me get to the bottom of the problem and fix it. I shouldn't miss shops anymore, but containers I still may miss.

Question: Your update says it happened after I made my changes, but they're not showing up.
Answer: The time stamp is updated when a town completes. This really only affects the Landing, and somewhat Icemule and Solhaven. Scanning the Landing takes over three hours, so if you're in room one, that date is off by over three hours, if you're in room forty, that date is very accurate. Same holds true for all other towns, just to a lesser degree.

Question: Can I search by [shop/town/bonus/....]?
Answer: Before you e-mail me on this, look through all your options in the advanced search tab. After making sure it's not already available, feel free to e-mail, IM, Psinet Mail, or CHAT TO me and I'll be happy to talk to you about adding features to the site. Just about everything I've been asked I've added, so if it's possible, and makes sense, I'll be happy to help.

Question: There are duplicate items in my shop. What gives?
Answer: It's your lucky day, Simutronics doubled your shop inventory! In all seriousness, what probably happened is that the shops had to do a full inspect scan, and the bot crashed in the same room as your shop. I do cleanup of duplicate items when leaving a room. This should resolve itself on the next scan. If it persists for a couple days, please contact me.
